Trade a token
Every token has one page: a chart (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h or all), its latest trades, its details and links, a creator fees tab, and the desk, the panel where you buy and sell.
The trades list shows the latest trades, not a full history.
The quote#
Before you confirm, the desk shows:
- you receive (estimated): what the trade should return.
- minimum received: the least you accept, set by your slippage.
- trading fee: each charge that applies. See Fees.
Network gas is separate. Your wallet shows it.
The first time you sell a token, your wallet asks you to approve the sale before it sends it.
If a quote expires while your wallet is still asking, cancel the request in your wallet and refresh the quote. Confirming an expired quote can still cost gas.
Slippage#
The price can move between your quote and the moment your trade confirms. Slippage is how far you let it move. If the price moves further, the trade fails and you keep your funds, apart from gas.
Pick a preset or set your own. The desk warns you when your slippage is very high or very low, and refuses a custom value above its ceiling.
When the desk can't trade#

| couldn't verify the trading fee. | The fee could not be read. That does not mean the trade is free. |
| not enough 0G after gas. | Your 0G does not cover the amount and the gas. |
