Trading
Fees
Trading fees are set per token when it launches. There is no single rate for every token. The desk shows the rate for the token in front of you, read at the moment of the quote.
What a trade can be charged#
| Charge | Applies to | Set by | Goes to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base fee | buys and sells | comfy's policy when the token launched | part to comfy, the rest to the token's creators |
| Creator tax | buys and sells | the creator, at launch; optional | the token's creators |
| Opening fee | buys only, falling over time after trading opens | the launch's terms; tokens launched on comfy.fun have none | split like the base fee |
"The token's creators" are the launcher and any recipients they added. See Share creator fees.
- On a buy, fees are charged on the 0G you pay.
- On a sell, fees are charged on the 0G you receive.
- Fees are included in your estimate.
- Network gas is separate.
A token's creator fees tab shows what its creators have earned and claimed.
Affiliated tokens#
A token marked Affiliated can trade on a different kind of pool, and iAI does. Its desk lists its own charges:
- a pool fee and a venue fee, on buys and on sells,
- on a sell, the fee is taken from the tokens you sell,
- the fees go to the pool's liquidity providers and to comfy's treasury, not to creators.
iAI also has an opening fee that falls after its launch. While it is high, the desk asks you to confirm it before you buy.
Compute#
A token's creator fees tab also shows its compute share: the part of creator fees sent to AI compute. It starts at zero, and comfy.fun offers no way to change it. comfy can change where an unlocked compute share is delivered.
